Terms & Conditions

Please review our terms and conditions to understand the guidelines governing our website and automotive services.

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all customers using the services of Euro Engine for Car Maintenance (“Euro Engine”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By bringing a vehicle to our workshop, requesting our services, approving a quotation, booking a service, or making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

Company Information & Legal Framework

Euro Engine for Car Maintenance is an automotive garage providing vehicle maintenance and repair services in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

These Terms are intended to establish the rights and responsibilities of Euro Engine and its customers in relation to vehicle inspection, maintenance, repair, parts supply, payments, warranties, and related automotive services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any mandatory rights or protections provided to consumers under applicable UAE law.

All services are subject to vehicle condition, parts availability, technical assessment, and the professional judgment of our technicians.

Vehicle Inspection & Diagnosis

Before carrying out certain repairs, Euro Engine may inspect and diagnose the vehicle to identify the cause of a reported problem.

A diagnostic fee may apply where applicable and will be communicated to the customer.

A diagnostic inspection does not necessarily identify every existing or potential fault in a vehicle. Vehicles may have pre-existing, hidden, intermittent, or unrelated faults that cannot reasonably be identified during the initial inspection.

Where additional faults are discovered during repair or inspection, Euro Engine may provide the customer with an additional quotation before proceeding with the additional work.

Quotations & Estimates

Quotations are based on the information and vehicle condition available at the time of assessment.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • A quotation is not a guarantee that no additional repairs will be required.
  • Additional parts or labour may be required if further faults are discovered.
  • Prices may change if the scope of work changes.
  • Parts prices are subject to availability and supplier pricing.
  • Special-order parts may require advance payment.
  • Any additional work will, where reasonably practicable, be communicated to and approved by the customer before it is carried out.

Customer Approval

The customer may approve work verbally, in writing, electronically, through WhatsApp, email, SMS, or another communication method accepted by Euro Engine.

Once the customer approves a quotation or additional repair, Euro Engine may proceed with the approved work.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the person providing approval has the authority to authorize repairs and incur the associated charges.

Parts & Spare Parts

Replacement parts may include, depending on availability and customer approval:

  • Genuine/OEM parts
  • OEM-equivalent parts
  • Aftermarket parts
  • Used or refurbished parts, where specifically agreed

The type and condition of a replacement part will be communicated to the customer where relevant.

Special-order parts may require advance payment and may be subject to supplier return restrictions.

Parts supplied by the customer (“customer-supplied parts”) may be installed at Euro Engine’s discretion. Euro Engine does not guarantee the quality, compatibility, authenticity, or performance of customer-supplied parts.

Labour & Repairs

Automotive repairs can involve multiple interconnected components. Repairing one component may reveal additional faults or cause previously hidden problems to become apparent.

Euro Engine will exercise reasonable professional care when carrying out repairs.

However, we cannot guarantee that repairing one component will resolve unrelated or pre-existing problems with the vehicle.

Vehicle Test Drives & Movement

The customer authorizes Euro Engine and its authorized technicians to start, move, operate, test, road-test, lift, or otherwise handle the vehicle where reasonably necessary to inspect, diagnose, repair, test, or verify the completed work.

Road tests will be conducted only where reasonably necessary and by authorized personnel.

Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

Customers should inform Euro Engine of any known issues, previous repairs, modifications, warning lights, accidents, or other relevant vehicle conditions.

Euro Engine is not responsible for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, normal wear and tear, or unrelated failures that were not caused by the work performed by Euro Engine.

Where reasonably practicable, the workshop may record the vehicle’s condition before commencing work.

Pricing, VAT & Payments

All prices are stated in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise specified.

Applicable VAT will be charged in accordance with UAE VAT requirements.

Payment may be made by:

  • Cash
  • Credit/debit card
  • Bank transfer
  • Approved online payment link
  • Other payment methods accepted by Euro Engine

Payment terms may vary depending on the service.

Euro Engine may require:

  • Advance payment for special-order parts
  • A deposit for major repairs
  • Full payment upon completion of the vehicle
  • Payment before vehicle release

The vehicle may be released only after all outstanding amounts relating to the completed work have been paid, subject to applicable law.

Payment Links

Where Euro Engine provides an online payment link:

  • The payment link is intended only for the customer and transaction identified by Euro Engine.
  • The customer must verify the payment amount and purpose before completing payment.
  • The customer confirms that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • Payment is considered received after successful confirmation from the payment provider.
  • A payment receipt or confirmation may be issued electronically.

Customers should contact Euro Engine immediately if they believe a payment link or payment request is incorrect or suspicious.

Cancellation

Customers should inform Euro Engine as soon as possible if they wish to cancel or postpone an approved service.

If parts have already been ordered specifically for the customer’s vehicle, cancellation may be subject to the supplier’s terms and any applicable costs.

Where work has already commenced, charges may apply for labour, diagnostics, parts supplied, or work completed.

Refunds

Refund requests will be considered based on the nature of the service, parts supplied, work completed, and applicable law.

Generally:

  • Completed labour and diagnostic services may not be refundable once performed.
  • Installed or used parts may not be eligible for return or refund except where required by applicable law or where a valid defect is established.
  • Special-order parts may be non-refundable where the supplier does not accept returns.
  • Approved refunds will normally be made through the original payment method where practicable.

Any refund entitlement required by applicable UAE law will remain unaffected by these Terms.

Warranty

Warranty coverage, where provided, applies only to the specific parts and/or repair work covered by the agreed warranty.

Warranty terms may vary depending on the manufacturer, supplier, part, and type of repair.

Warranty does not normally cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Accidents or collision damage
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Continued operation of a vehicle after a warning sign or fault has appeared
  • Damage caused by overheating, lack of fluids, contamination, or improper maintenance
  • Pre-existing or unrelated vehicle faults
  • Customer-supplied parts, unless specifically agreed
  • Consumables unless specifically covered

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by Euro Engine and, where applicable, the relevant supplier or manufacturer.

Customer Responsibility After Repair

After collecting the vehicle, the customer is responsible for operating and maintaining the vehicle appropriately.

If a warning light, overheating, fluid leak, unusual noise, loss of performance, or other significant issue occurs following a repair, the customer should stop using the vehicle where reasonably safe to do so and contact Euro Engine promptly.

Continuing to drive a vehicle despite a known fault may cause additional damage that is not related to the original repair.

Vehicle Collection & Storage

Customers will be notified when their vehicle is ready for collection.

Customers should collect their vehicle promptly after completion of the agreed work.

Where a vehicle remains at the workshop for an extended period after the customer has been notified that it is ready, Euro Engine may apply reasonable storage or parking charges where such charges have been communicated to the customer.

Any such charges remain subject to applicable UAE law.

Limitation of Liability

Euro Engine will exercise reasonable care and professional skill when performing its services.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Euro Engine is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing mechanical or electrical faults
  • Hidden defects
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failures unrelated to the work performed
  • Damage caused by customer-supplied parts
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications
  • Damage caused by continued operation of a vehicle with a known fault
  • Delays caused by parts availability, suppliers, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or force majeure

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UAE law.

Customer Conduct

Customers are expected to treat Euro Engine employees, technicians, and representatives respectfully.

Threatening, abusive, violent, discriminatory, or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated.

Euro Engine reserves the right to refuse service or terminate interactions where necessary for the safety of employees, customers, or property, subject to applicable law.

Customer Data & Privacy

Euro Engine may collect and process customer information necessary to provide services, communicate with customers, process payments, maintain service records, and comply with legal requirements.

Customer information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data-protection requirements.

Where photographs are used for marketing purposes, Euro Engine will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessarily displaying personal information or identifying details.
