Frequently Asked Questions
My battery keeps dying overnight - is that a battery or electrical fault?
Both are possible. It could simply be an aging battery, or a parasitic draw somewhere in the electrical system keeping a component powered when the car is off. We test the battery and charging system first, then trace for a draw if the battery itself checks out fine.
Can you fix intermittent electrical faults?
Yes – intermittent faults (a light that flickers occasionally, a window that sometimes doesn’t work) are usually the hardest to diagnose because they don’t show up on demand. We use live data monitoring and circuit tracing to catch these rather than just visual inspection.
Do you replace or repair wiring looms?
Both, depending on the extent of the damage. Localised wiring damage (from rodents, heat, or wear) can usually be repaired; more extensive loom damage may need a section replaced. We’ll show you exactly what we find before recommending either.
How long does an electrical diagnosis take?
A standard electrical diagnostic typically takes under an hour. Intermittent faults may need a longer monitoring period to catch the issue in the act.
